Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a comprehensive healthcare system that originated in China over thousands of years ago. It can be used to treat acute or chronic ailments, strengthen the immune system, and relieve pain.

After gathering information about your medical history, feeling your pulse and looking at your tongue, an Acupuncturist inserts extremely fine, stainless steel, sterile needles into specific points along the meridians (energetic pathways) of your body. The insertion of needles signals the body to correct imbalances in

the flow of Qi (life energy), and restore health and

well-being. Many patients are worried about acu-

puncture needles. But for people who have used

acupuncture before all know that Acupuncture

needles are so fine, that majority people won't feel pain at all during acupuncture. My 6 years old and 7 years old kids ask me for acupuncture whenever they feel not 100%, either because of flu, allergy, or pure stomach upset. My son calls the needle sensation "tickling".

“My first visit was very relaxing. Wei took his time asking questions and answering anything that I was concerned about. The treatment went well, no needle discomfort sensation. Looking forward to the next visit. ”

Cupping

Cupping is a method of relieving local congestion by

applying a partial vacuum that is created in a cup(s),

either by heat or by suction on the patient's skin to

dispel stagnation—stagnant blood and lymph, there-

by improving qi flow—to treat respiratory diseases

such as the common cold, pneumonia and bronchitis.

Cupping also is used on back, neck, shoulder and other

musculoskeletal conditions.
